HAND-GROWN FOOD
We grow everything at a human scale. Crops are cultivated and harvested by hand at frequent intervals so that our produce has the texture, appearance, and most importantly, the flavor that our customers desire. We use organic farming practices and minimize the use of any synthetic inputs. We trellis many of our crops by hand in order to grow healthier plants and promote ripening.

COMMUNITY ACTIVISM
We started our farm based on the idea that we wanted to serve the communities of Beacon and Newburgh. We donate our excess produce to Fareground, an organization whose mission is to make fresh and local produce available to all people regardless of income. In 2021, we are hoping to expand access to our CSA by offering payment through an EBT reader.

FOCUS ON SPECIALTY CROPS
We love to teach people about new vegetables they haven't cooked with before like Spigariello, Japanese Sweet Potatoes, fresh Fava Beans, Daikon Radish, and Sprouting Cauliflower. We do grow tomatoes and potatoes and other staple crops, but our goal in life in to teach people how to cook with a wider variety of vegetables, especially those varieties that grow well in our Hudson Valley climate.
