Community Supported Agriculture
What’s a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a partnership between farmers and the local community where individuals purchase shares of the farm’s harvest in advance. In return, shareholders receive a regular supply of fresh, seasonal produce throughout the growing season. This model helps support local farmers and promotes sustainable agricultural practices. When you join the Field & Larder CSA, you are not just signing up for veggies, you are becoming part of a vibrant community that celebrates delicious, locally grown produce!
What’s included?
Your CSA share is designed for two people and includes 5-6 veggies per week (and sometimes 1 fruit). Get fresh produce from June through October with weekly pickup in Beacon or Newburgh. Delicious recipes from former Chef and your local Farmer Charles will be sent to you email each week. Our CSA runs from June through October. Each month you will receive a variety of produce based on what’s in season. Here are some example shares:
June: Lettuce Mix, Potatoes, Carrots, Fava Beans, Lacinato Kale
